Paul Priscott, Ph.D., Managing Director: The Company was founded in 1996 in
Sydney,
Australia by Dr Paul Priscott with the goal of providing world-class analytical and consulting services in microbiology. Dr. Priscott received his initial training in Medical Microbiology at Portsmouth Polytechnic (now
Portsmouth
University) in the
United Kingdom. He then undertook a Masters programme in Virology at
Reading
University and was awarded a Ph.D by University College London,
University of
London.
Dr Priscott has extensive experience in microbiology from positions government, university and commercial organizations. He participates in several professional working groups related to regulatory and standards development and industrial microbiology. CONTRACT RESEARCH and QUALITY CONTROL TESTING:
We operate in accordance with codes of GMP and GLP to Australian TGA and other regulatory guidelines. ams Laboratories offer a long list of studies required for lot release and regulatory review. Our clients receive high quality service and all projects are handled by experienced staff with extensive industrial and academic experience. From the time a client submits their samples, the process is documented in our LIMS, so clients ( and auditors ) can confirm the testing was done in accordance with requested instructions. CONSULTING SERVICES:
In addition to performing analytical testing of samples, the senior staff at
AMS Laboratories offer many years combined experience that is available to our clients through our consulting services. These range from assistance with environmental monitoring plan development, through disinfectant / sanitizer qualification studies to sterile process validation planning and execution, factory microbiological audits, method validation planning and contaminated product investigations.
